Panorama City, California -- An Affordable Place To Live, Work and Play

Panorama City is a suburb of Los Angeles.  It is located in the center of the San Fernando Valley.  The Panorama City Neighborhood Council is the community's broad-based civic and social organization.  It is an official advisory agency of the City of Los Angeles, run entirely by community volunteers. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wal-Mart chose Panorama City for it's first store in the Los Angeles area.  It is also the first two-story Wal-Mart in the United States.  The Wal-Mart store anchors the Panorama Mall shopping center, one of the busiest shopping centers in the Valley on a square-foot basis.  El Gallo Giro offers a large bakery and authentic Mexican food, both sit-down and take-out.  It is one of many great places to eat in Panorama City. 

Below, Mariachi perform at the annual Health Fair at the Plaza Del Valle shopping center.  This year's Health Fair served over 1,000 people.  It was sponsored by the Panorama City Neighborhood Council, Agora 2000 Realty, Los Angeles City Councilman Richard Alarcón and other local partners.  

A Neighborhood Resource for Civic Action

Panorama City's neighborhood council volunteers can help you with city services and introduce you to many other ogranizations that provide services in Panorama City.  The council is an active sponsor of the Panorama Area Youth and Families group that works to keep kids safe and away from trouble.  To learn more about the council and it's work, click the link below.
